These days Kennedy is really keeping us on our toes. She is becoming very independent and absolutely does not want anything to do with sitting down. (This includes sitting in her high chair, stroller, or a shopping cart!) Today we went to the mall in Wilmington. It was rainy and cold here and we just wanted to get out and do something. Kennedy was absolutely fascinated by the carousel. I think it would have made her whole day if we would have let her ride it, but we thought if we let her ride it this time she will expect to ride it every time we come... so we will save that for another day. She walked almost the entire mall... wanting nothing to do with sitting in her stroller.
She is starting to say a bit more these days, it seems like there is something new every few days. She really seems to be picking up her animal noises, is finally saying doggie (she was calling them arf arf for a while now), and a few other new ones. Still waiting for the big explosion of words to come.
I have also been keeping busy lately. I have finally decided to let go of some of my old clothes that I have been carrying around with us through the past 4 moves. I figure if they have been packed up that long it is time to purge and not take anything that is not necessary to the new house. I am selling them on ebay, I figure that extra money can help pay for new things at the new house and saves me time and energy in finding a place to put them. I really have a hard time letting go of clothes for some reason (I brought most of them to San Diego when I moved the first time). I have also been trying to pack up a little bit at a time so that the big move comes I do not have to stress out about packing. I figure I can pack non essential items ahead of time and will only have to focus on the essentials come moving time. We will see how my plan goes, so far I have about 6 boxes packed.

But Kennedy looks so very, very innocent sitting there!!! Is that something she is trying to hide in her hands??!! Good luck in your mission to purge the wardrobe.
