UPDATES
We have not posted anything lately so I thought I would sum up everything that has happened lately.
1. Pete shot expert on the rifle range last week. Great Job!! I am so proud of you!
2. Kennedy stood up a few times without holding on to anything. She is also finding that she can make us laugh, so if she does something that makes us laugh, she does it over, and over and over again!! She is also playing peek-a-bo now, it is so fun to see the new things she does each day. Pete took her in her baby pool again today, this child loves the water! She cries and gets upset if you even act like you are going to take her out. She has so much fun splashing the water, and is constantly trying to put her face in the water, so we have to watch her pretty closely.
3. I have been feverishly trying to finish my scrapbook of Kennedy's first year for her party on the 2nd, I can't believe she will be a year old in about 5 weeks!!

New Pizza Parlor
Even though our family misses Dippers Pizza in Escondido, we have found a replacement here in Jacksonville, NC. The pizza restaurant is called pie sano's and it feels as though your really eating in New York City. The family who owns the restaurant is originally from NYC and brought their style of pizza down to the South. After conversating with one of the waiters, the son of the owner, it turns out the rent in the Big Apple was getting very high and the father announced it was time to make a drastic decision. He felt it was the best for the family to pack up and move. For some reason unknown, he chose Jacksonville. The owner and his wife took a trip down to the North Carolina coast and found the area quite reasonable for their style.
We are actually headed their tonite and now I must get going to get ready.

Kennedy updates
This is Pete and I wanted to share some Kennedy knowledge.
Kennedy has been doing some new things lately:
1. She is becoming quite proficient at tilting her own sippy cup. While sitting in her exer-saucer, she will tilt the cup all the way upside down in her mouth while leaning her head back.
2. She is crawling extremely fast especially towards areas that are off limits; the kitchen, stairs, etc. She climbed two stair steps on her own and maybe more if was not stopped.
3. While handing her the all-in-one toothbrush/paste, she is sticking it in her mouth and moving it around to brush her own two (and the two coming) teeth.
4. She really enjoys being near water; baths, kiddie pool, doggy water bowl. She is becoming quite the water baby.
5. Kennedy has notion that nothing is supposed to be inside something. This goes from diaper bags and toys inside toys.
